Bobbie Celebrating 13 Yrs at PRC

Dear Friends of PRC,
It is with sadness and pride that we announce the resignation of Bobbie Meyer as Executive Director of the Pregnancy Resource Center of Charlotte. The sadness is because we will miss her greatly. The pride is because Bobbie has accepted the position of State Director of the Carolina Pregnancy Care Fellowship.
The Carolina Pregnancy Care Fellowship is an organization of pregnancy resource centers, Christian adoption agencies and maternity homes in North Carolina. Its mission is to bring resources, ideas, and leadership to equip, encourage, and network pregnancy care ministries in North Carolina.
Bobbie will be able to operate from Charlotte in her new job. This will be good for Charlotte and the Charlotte Pregnancy Resource Center in particular.
We are extremely grateful for her more than 13 years of faithful service to the ministry. In her capable hands, the ministry has become a very fine Center; we think one of the finest. She has had a ministry of integrity, compassion for the unborn, and a deep abiding love for the tens of thousands of women who have been served by the Charlotte PRC. She will be sorely missed.
Our current Director of Ministry Advancement, Merlyn Hermanson, will serve as the interim Executive Director while the Board conducts a broad search for the right person to continue the work of the Charlotte PRC. The experienced and dedicated staff gives us the opportunity to move forward quickly but not as though the Center was in desperate need of leadership.
I want to assure you the ministry is on solid ground, is financially stable, and will continue to operate “business as usual.”
Bobbie has done a great job for the Lord and for the women and unborn children who came thru our doors on her watch. We are going to shower her with thanks and best wishes. Should you wish to contact Bobbie, her Email is directorcpcf@aol.com.
