Everyone can give a. . .
Blessing In A Bottle
The Baby Bottle Campaign helps the Pregnancy Resource Center continue to offer Free services which include pregnancy testing, counseling, prenatal parenting classes, single parenting classes, abortion recovery classes, classes for fathers, and a variety of material needs. Here is how it works . . .
Your church or organization can be a part of this vital ministry by participating in a very simple fundraiser that will inform your congregation about the sanctity of life and make them aware of some of the specific ways we help our clients.
By distributing baby bottles that your members can fill with checks, cash, or coins, your church will enable us to continue the vital work to which God has called us. This is also an opportunity for your church families to have hands-on involvement in a project that saves the lives of unborn children and makes an eternal difference in the mother's lives.
The Blessings In a Bottle campaign is very simple to administer. There are five simple steps:
1. Decide if your church is interested and designate a point of contact for your program-someone who will be willing to coordinate pickup and drop-off of the bottles with the PRC program coordinator.
2. Contact the Pregnancy Resource Center at 704-372-5981 to begin the process and to set a date.
3. Publicize your Blessings In a Bottle campaign ahead of time. The most effective way is for the pastor or group leader to describe the drive, tell the members about the work of our center, and then remind the congregation with weekly bulletin inserts in the weeks leading to the drive.
4. Make the bottles available in your church on the designated Sunday.
5. Have all checks made out to the church. When the bottles are turned in. . .roll the loose coins, count all the coins, currency, and checks and write one check to the Pregnancy Resource Center.
Pregnancy Resource Centers across the country have reported excellent participation and enthusiastic results from congregations. This program helps create a bond of serving Christ together in our community. We have been privileged to make a real difference in the lives of women in crisis, and the lives of many unborn children have been saved. As God provides, we will continue to do so.
